Lumen Moolman

Lumen Moolman is a Partner at Webber Wentzel, specialising in corporate tax and M&A tax advisory. She advises clients on mergers and acquisition tax structuring, private equity fund formations, leveraged and management buyouts, corporate restructurings and group reorganisations, management incentive schemes, debt restructuring, and tax due diligence reviews. Her expertise has been recognised by Legal 500 as a Next Generation Partner and as a legal expert (2025).

She combines her legal expertise with a background in chartered accounting, providing commercially focused tax advice on complex corporate transactions and restructurings across multiple sectors. Her practice spans both advisory and transactional work, delivering practical, tax‑efficient solutions to clients across a range of industries.

Lumen holds a B.Acc.LLB from the University of Stellenbosch (2012), a B.Com (Honours in Chartered Accounting) from the University of Johannesburg (2013), and an M.Com in South African and International Tax (with distinction) from the University of Johannesburg (2024). She is a Chartered Accountant (SA) and an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa. She is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.
