Ntebaleng Sekabate

Ntebaleng Sekabate is an Executive in the Tax practice at ENS, specialising in tax advisory law. She advises large corporate clients across sectors including mining, information technology, private equity, and the public sector on tax‑efficient structuring, restructuring, financing, and refinancing of broad‑based black economic empowerment (B‑BBEE) transactions, including loans, equity, preference share funding, and notional vendor financing arrangements.

She also advises on mining tax, empowerment deals, private equity, and structuring investments into South Africa. She assists clients in disputes with the South African Revenue Service and advises on general corporate tax matters, including the deductibility of expenditure incurred in compliance with B‑BBEE legislation.

She holds an LL.B from the University of the Witwatersrand, a Diploma in Insolvency Law and Practice (cum laude) from the University of Johannesburg, a BCom from UNISA, and an LL.M from the University of Johannesburg. She is admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
