Marissa Wessels

Marissa Wessels is a Partner specialising in international tax and tax advisory. She advises clients on tax matters pertaining to international mergers and acquisitions, group rationalisations and restructurings, and provides general tax advisory and tax dispute resolution services.

She has extensive experience advising clients on tax-efficient structuring for cross-border transactions, corporate restructurings, and regulatory compliance, delivering commercially focused legal solutions across multiple sectors. She is recognised by Legal 500 (2025) as a legal expert.

Marissa holds an M.Com (South African and International Tax) from North-West University (2020), an LLB (cum laude) from the University of Pretoria (2015), and a BA (Law) from the University of Pretoria (2013). She is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa and a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society.
