Fiona Nzau

Fiona Nzau is an Associate in the Private Equity Team within the Mergers and Acquisitions Practice at Bowmans in Johannesburg, specialising in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and corporate and commercial law. She assists clients with domestic and cross-border investments across a number of industries, including renewable energy, telecommunications, and manufacturing.

Fiona has advised AutoX Proprietary Limited and Trinitas Equity Partners on the acquisition of the Zimco group of companies; Convergence Partners on its subscription for shares in Yellow Digital Retailers Ltd; International Housing Solutions on the establishment of IHS Kenya CIV Green Housing SCSp; Convergence Partners on the acquisition of Datacentrix; the SA SME Fund of Funds on its investment into Havaic; Rand Mutual IT Solutions on its acquisition of a majority stake in an insurance brokerage and COIDA services provider; and Stanlib Infrastructure Investments on its investment into Africa Data Centres.

Fiona holds a BCom in Economics and Finance, a BCom Honours in Economics, and a Bachelor of Laws, all from the University of Cape Town. She is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
