Isaac Fenyane

Isaac Fenyane is an Executive at ENS in the Corporate Commercial practice. His practice focuses on Mergers and Acquisitions, specialising in M&A, corporate finance, financial markets and securities legislation and regulation, as well as private equity.

He has been acting for domestic and multinational clients in diverse industries and sectors including mining, aviation, telecommunications, construction and FMCG, in both listed and unlisted corporate environments.

Isaac has extensive experience in structuring, negotiating and leading complex corporate transactions in both domestic and cross-border transactions. In addition, he has experience in negotiating and drafting bespoke commercial agreements.

Outside practice, Isaac offers lectures on corporate and commercial law topics, including M&A, to the members of the Black Lawyers Association, and has been nominated to provide training to black lawyers on corporate and commercial law aspects as part of the skills development initiative organised by the International Senior Lawyers Project and the Law Society of South Africa. At an international level, he has been appointed to serve as a consultant to two organisations – the China-Africa Legal Training Base and the China Research Centre, both established by the China Law Society and the Beijing Foreign Studies University.

He holds an LLB (Cum Laude) from the University of Venda, an LLM from King's College London, and Certificates in Advanced Company Law I and II from the University of the Witwatersrand. He is admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa, and is recognised by Best Lawyers for Corporate Law in South Africa.
