Tammy Beira

Tammy Beira is a Talent and Business Development Partner at Bowmans in Johannesburg, specialising in mergers and acquisitions, talent development, and business development strategy. She is an elected member of the Firm's Remuneration Committee and works closely with the Management Board to execute business development and talent strategies across the Firm's six jurisdictions and nine offices in Africa, ensuring a client‑centric focus is central to everything the Firm does.

Tammy is passionate about people and unlocking opportunities for personal and professional development across the Firm's African footprint. She drives innovation in the legal sector through design thinking and process improvement methodologies, delivering technology‑enabled solutions aimed at driving efficiencies that enhance value to clients and improve the working experience of Firm employees. She has been instrumental in introducing design thinking and process improvement methodologies across the Firm's offices.

Tammy holds a BCom and an LL.B from the University of the Witwatersrand. She is an admitted attorney, notary, and conveyancer. She joined Bowmans in 1998 as an articled clerk and became an M&A partner in 2005.
