Leonard Bilchitz

Leonard Bilchitz is an Executive in the Corporate Commercial practice at ENS, specialising in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and private equity. He advises both listed and unlisted clients, as well as offshore clients wishing to invest in the South African market, on asset and share acquisitions and disposals, share subscriptions, shareholder relationships, joint ventures, and corporate reorganisations.

Leonard has deep expertise in all aspects of private equity, including the structuring and establishment of private equity funds, legal due diligence for acquisitions by PE funds of portfolio companies, portfolio and investment structuring, regulatory approvals, recapitalisations, and the disposal of portfolio companies. He has also assisted various clients with due diligence investigations across a range of commercial transactions.

Leonard holds a BCom and an LL.B (Cum Laude) from the University of the Witwatersrand. He is admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
