Angelique du Plessis

Angelique du Plessis is an Associate in the Corporate Mergers and Acquisitions practice, specialising in transactional structuring, regulatory compliance, and cross‑border deal execution. She advises clients in the telecommunications, agriculture, and financial services sectors on complex corporate transactions and strategic legal matters.

She has advised Blue Yonder on its acquisition of carrier services platform Doddle Parcel Services, a strategically significant deal in the telecommunications and logistics space. She also advised nCino on its USD 75 million acquisition of DocFox, a global end‑to‑end software solution and onboarding service provider. She has experience advising on cross‑border M&A, corporate restructurings, and employment law and data protection compliance. Prior to joining DLA Piper, she gained experience in litigation and employment law.

She holds an LL.B (with distinction) from the University of the Witwatersrand (2022) and a BCom Law (with distinction) from The Independent Institute of Education (2019). She is admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
