Robert Gad

Robert Gad is an Executive in the firm's Tax Advisory Law practice at ENS, based in South Africa. He has wide experience in corporate tax, indirect tax, mergers and acquisitions, employment taxation, private client matters, and tax disputes, and chairs the South African Law Society's Committee on Exchange Control and Tax Matters.

He leads an integrated Incentives practice area, advising on the legal, tax, and regulatory aspects of employee and management remuneration, benefits, and incentives for leading South African corporations, as well as foreign firms operating across the African continent. He comments on and lobbies for tax law changes where appropriate, leveraging his deep expertise to design and implement effective incentive plans that drive desired commercial outcomes.

Robert holds a BA, an LLB, an LLM, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Tax from the University of Cape Town, and is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa.

He has been recognized by ITR World Tax, Chambers Global, The Legal 500 EMEA, Best Lawyers, and Who's Who Legal as a leading tax practitioner in South Africa.
