Jens Brodbeck

Jens Brodbeck is an Executive and Head of the Transfer Pricing team in the firm's Tax Advisory Law practice at ENS, based in South Africa. He has been involved in transfer pricing since the introduction of the South African transfer pricing rules in 1995, assisting South African and international MNEs with their transfer pricing needs across Africa. He has substantial experience in advisory, documentation, risk management, and dispute resolution, and has been involved in numerous transfer pricing disputes, negotiating favorable settlements for clients.

His client base includes some of South Africa's biggest companies and global brands across a diverse range of industries, including financial services, FinTech, automotive, logistics, gaming, and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. He also advises on the tax, transfer pricing, and exchange control consequences of cross-border transactions involving intangibles.

Jens holds an LLB from the University of Munich and an LLM from the University of Cape Town. He is a member of the transfer pricing sub-committees at both SAICA and SAIT, and serves on the Board of Directors of Taxand, the world's largest independent organization of tax experts. He has been consistently recognized by World Tax Review, The Legal 500 EMEA, and Best Lawyers as a leading tax practitioner.
