Pareen Rogers

Pareen Rogers is an Executive in the firm's Employment Law practice at ENS, based in South Africa. She advises public and private corporations on all types of employment law matters, with significant experience in proceedings at the CCMA, Bargaining Councils, and the Labour Court.

Her expertise includes retrenchments, business transfers, remuneration matters, global mobility, and employment-related aspects of commercial transactions. She conducts due diligence and compliance audits for foreign entities on South African labour law, and has advised on labour law in African jurisdictions including Kenya, Ghana, Swaziland, Lesotho, Mauritius, Botswana, Tanzania, and Nigeria.

Ms. Rogers also prosecutes professional misconduct cases for the Independent Regulatory Board for Auditors and the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants, and has conducted investigations into sexual harassment and bullying in the workplace. She advises Boards of Directors and Audit and Risk Committees on the role of registered auditors, reportable irregularities, and related matters.

She holds a BA (Cum Laude) and an LLB from the University of the Witwatersrand and is admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa. She has been recognized by Best Lawyers in Labour and Employment Law and by The Legal 500 EMEA as a Key Lawyer in Employment.
