Erin Warmington

Erin Warmington is a Partner in the Johannesburg office, specialising in Dispute Resolution. She focuses on corporate and commercial litigation and arbitration, with particular experience in matters involving the financial services and mining sectors.

Erin advises on mining and international investment law in respect of mining investment into South Africa and other African jurisdictions, as well as regulatory compliance, including black economic empowerment/indigenisation requirements, and investor protection under bilateral investment treaties. In early 2018, she was seconded to Linklaters' London office.

Erin holds an LL.M. in International Legal Studies from New York University (2012), as well as a B.A. (cum laude) and an LL.B. (cum laude) from the University of the Witwatersrand. She is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa.

She is recognised by Best Lawyers (2022–2026) as a leading individual and was included in Legal 500's Africa Arbitration Powerlist 2021.
