Crystal Davids

Crystal Davids is a Senior Associate in the Corporate Department of Bowmans' Johannesburg office, specialising in Mergers and Acquisitions. She advises local and international clients on general corporate and commercial law, mergers and acquisitions, contractual matters, corporate governance, BEE transactions and corporate restructurings.

Crystal has conducted due diligence investigations and regulatory compliance reviews across a range of significant transactions, including advising Air Liquide on its acquisition of the largest oxygen production site in the world from Sasol South Africa, advising Amcor Packaging Solutions on the disposal of its South African operations to CTP Limited, and advising Cape Town Stock Exchange on a capital raise of R85 million. She has also advised state-owned energy companies, mining companies on coal supply agreements with Eskom, and a leading global oil and gas company on the establishment of a fuel retail network in southern Africa.

Crystal holds an LL.B. and an LL.M. in Commercial and Business Law from the University of the Witwatersrand, as well as a Certificate in Advanced Company Law II from the Mandela Institute at the University of the Witwatersrand.
