Lilia Franca

Lilia Franca is a Partner at Webber Wentzel in the Johannesburg office, specialising in Mergers and Acquisitions. She focuses on listed M&A transactions, regulated affected transactions, take-private transactions and capital markets work, with significant experience in BEE transactions.

Lilia advises on complex corporate transactions, bringing expertise across the full spectrum of M&A and capital markets matters. Her practice encompasses both domestic and cross-border transactions, with a particular emphasis on listed company takeovers, privatisations and regulatory compliance.

Lilia holds an LL.B. from the University of the Witwatersrand (2002) and a Higher Diploma in Company Law (cum laude) from the University of the Witwatersrand (2006). She is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa and an admitted solicitor of England and Wales.
