Sihle Sibanyoni

Sihle Sibanyoni is an Associate at Bowmans in Johannesburg, specialising in mergers and acquisitions, corporate and commercial law, and energy and infrastructure projects. She advises clients on private M&A, corporate governance, compliance, and restructuring matters, with experience across consumer goods and retail, renewable energy, and clean technology sectors.

Sihle has advised two fuel providers in Southern Africa on the divestment of assets and liabilities of South African Petroleum Refineries Proprietary Limited, including interests in the SAPREF land, processing units, pipelines, and the Single Buoy Mooring for crude oil imports to Central Energy Fund SOC Limited. She has also advised a global architecture, engineering, and consultancy company on the disposal of its South African entity and Mozambican branch; Bidvest Services Proprietary Limited on its acquisition of the business assets of Just Pure Natural Products CC; and The Bidvest Group (UK) Plc on its proposed acquisition of 100% of Citron Hygiene LP from Birch Hill Equity Partners. Her experience includes drafting and negotiating share sale agreements, sale of business agreements, and shareholders' agreements, as well as coordinating with international counsel on cross‑border matters.

Sihle holds an LL.B from the University of the Witwatersrand and a BA in Public Management and Governance from the University of Johannesburg. She is a member of the Law Society of South Africa.
