Camilla Mototompedi

Camilla Mototompedi is an Associate in the firm's Mergers and Acquisitions practice, based in the Johannesburg office. Her experience includes private M&A transactions, private equity (including fund formation, investments, and divestments), and general corporate law across sectors including retail, mining, renewable energy, manufacturing, and telecommunications.

Ms. Mototompedi has assisted BASF SE on its €7.7 billion divestment of its coating business, advised a South African thermal coal producer on its approximately ZAR 1.2 billion sale of mining assets, and advised Oro Agri SA on its acquisition of shares in Cosmocel Holdings. She also assisted Afrikelp Investments on a B-BBEE restructuring of Taurus Chemicals Cape Kelp, involving the formation of the Afrikelp Community Education Trust.

She holds a BCom and an LLB from the University of the Witwatersrand and is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
