Aloise Spangenberg

Aloise Spangenberg is a Manager: Investigations in the firm's Dispute Resolution Department and a member of the Corporate Investigations Practice at Bowmans, based in the Johannesburg office. She is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) with over 6 years' experience in fraud and corruption investigations, anti-bribery and corruption reviews, and due diligence reviews.

Ms. Spangenberg joined Bowmans as a Forensic Investigator in 2019, having previously worked as a consultant for the Firm since 2018. Her experience includes assisting a financial services regulator with investigations into Exchange Control Regulations contraventions across multiple jurisdictions, investigating allegations of fraud and corruption at a large parastatal in the energy sector, and conducting multiple anti-bribery and corruption compliance reviews as part of pre- and post-acquisition due diligence.

She holds a BCom and BCom Honours in Forensic Accountancy from North West University and has completed training in IBM i2 Analyst Notebook Version 9.
