Raiza Ballim

Raiza Ballim is an Associate in the Dispute Resolution Department at Bowmans in Johannesburg, and a member of the Employment and Benefits Practice Group. She specialises in dispute resolution, employment and labour law, and commercial litigation.

Raiza has recently completed her articles and has worked in various dispute and corporate rotations, gaining exposure to corporate litigation, employment litigation, and telecommunications and media law. She has assisted the City of Cape Town in drafting a template contract for IT services providers awarded a tender; assisted African Rainbow Minerals in arbitration proceedings relating to the dissolution of a joint venture; and assisted Environ skincare in arbitration proceedings before the CCMA relating to an unfair labour practice dispute.

Raiza holds a BA, a BA (Honours), and an LL.B.
