Tobia Serongoane

Tobia Serongoane is a Senior Associate specialising in corporate and commercial litigation and alternative dispute resolution. He advises clients on complex commercial disputes, with experience in mining disputes and medical malpractice matters. He provides strategic legal counsel across both litigation and alternative dispute resolution forums, delivering commercially focused solutions to clients.

He has a strong background in dispute resolution, offering strategic advice and representation in high‑stakes commercial and regulatory matters. He was awarded the Private Practice Most Promising Newcomer Award at the 2023 African Legal Awards.

Tobia holds an MA (2021), an LLB (2018), a BA (Hons) (cum laude) (2014), and a BA (2013) from the University of Johannesburg. He also completed a Short Programme in Sustainable Finance and Investment from Harvard University (2017). He is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
