Tammi Pretorius

Tammi Pretorius is an Executive in the firm's Intellectual Property Law practice at ENS, based in South Africa. She specialises in enforcement (litigation and dispute resolution) relating to intellectual property rights, including trade mark oppositions, cancellations and infringements, copyright disputes, unlawful competition matters, company name objections, advertising complaints before the Advertising Regulatory Board, and domain name disputes (ADR, UDRP and URS).

Her expertise in trade mark enforcement and contentious IP matters extends across Africa and other foreign jurisdictions, enabling her to offer clients comprehensive global and holistic enforcement strategies. She sits on the Copyright Law Committee of the South African Institute of Intellectual Property Law (SAIIPL), serves as a trainee adjudicator on the .co.za Alternate Dispute Resolution panel of SAIIPL, and is a member of the Enforcement Committee: Opposition Harmonisation Task Force of the International Trademark Association (INTA).

Tammi holds an LLB from the University of South Africa and is admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
