Suhail Ebrahim

Suhail Ebrahim is a Senior Associate in the Corporate and Commercial department at Shepstone & Wylie's Durban office, specialising in corporate and commercial law. He drafts a wide range of commercial agreements, commercial lease agreements, comprehensive legal opinions, legal letters, and commercial resolutions tailored to suit particular transactions.

He also processes various company secretarial transactions including incorporation of companies, director changes, filing of annual returns, establishing trusts, and processing trust amendments. He provides regulatory advice, conducts due diligence investigations, and performs contractual reviews for listed and unlisted clients across a number of industries.

Suhail holds an LLB (summa cum laude) and an LLM in Business Law from the University of KwaZulu‑Natal (UKZN). He was awarded as the Best Overall LLB student and the Best LLM (Business Law) student by the UKZN School of Law. He was admitted as a Legal Practitioner and Conveyancer in 2021, having received the highest mark in the province of KwaZulu‑Natal in the conveyancing admission examinations. He is also a Notary Public.
