Asanda Lajila

Asanda Lajila is an Associate in the Corporate and Commercial law department at Shepstone & Wylie's Durban office. She advises clients on a diverse range of matters including commercial, compliance, and competition law issues.

Prior to joining Shepstone & Wylie, she gained excellent litigation experience practicing mainly in Family Law, where her focus areas included divorce, child contact arrangements, and child and spousal maintenance issues. She has worked extensively on both High Court and Magistrates' Court matters and regularly appeared in the Magistrates' Court, providing valuable practical insight that informs her commercial work.

Asanda holds a BSocSci and LLB from the University of Cape Town (UCT).
