Pravir Ramlall

Pravir Ramlall is an Associate in the Banking and Finance practice, specialising in Banking and Finance Law. He advises lenders and borrowers on a broad range of domestic and cross‑border financing transactions, including project finance, leveraged finance, and debt restructuring for entities in both the private and public sectors.

He has advised multiple South African banks and an international financial institution on a ZAR 1.3 billion senior debt refinance as part of a syndicated loan package, and advised a major South African bank on an English law governed USD 70 million mezzanine facility with associated security arrangements across multiple jurisdictions, including Delaware and the British Virgin Islands.

He holds an LL.M (Mercantile Law) (cum laude) from the University of Johannesburg (2023), an LL.B from the University of Johannesburg (2022), and a BCom Law from the University of Johannesburg (2021). He is an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa and a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society.
