Shezaad Cassim

Shezaad Cassim is a Senior Associate in the Banking and Finance practice at ENS, specialising in banking and corporate finance transactions for both lenders and borrowers.

He has experience across a broad range of financing transactions, including asset finance (particularly aircraft financing), leveraged finance, acquisition finance, debt restructuring, and cross-border and structured trade and commodity finance, with a particular focus on emerging markets. He advises local and international commercial banks, development finance institutions and international finance institutions.

He holds an LL.B (Honours) from the University of Cape Town and is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa. He previously worked at a globally renowned law firm in its London office.
