Malachizodok Mpolokeng

Malachizodok Mpolokeng is a Senior Associate at DLA Piper in Johannesburg, specialising in Banking and Finance Law. He has advised a syndicate of lenders on USD 150 million senior debt facilities made available to an Australian uranium producer and its subsidiary, advised two major South African banks on a USD 250 million senior facility made available to a zinc producer for the expansion of its South African mining operations, and advised a renewable energy firm on the ZAR 1.8 billion financing of its 114MW photovoltaic power facility in the Northern Cape Province. His practice spans complex cross‑border financings, project finance, and debt restructurings across the mining, energy, and renewable energy sectors.

He holds an LL.B (cum laude) (2019) and a B.Com Law (cum laude) (2017) from the University of Pretoria. He is an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
