Nick Robb

Nick Robb is a Consultant at Webber Wentzel in Johannesburg, specialising in Employment Law and labour relations, with over 47 years of experience. He advises on employment‑related aspects of business rescue proceedings, mergers and acquisitions (including competition law matters), and outsourcing.

His litigation practice includes forensic enquiries, collective disputes and strikes, executive dismissals and discrimination, whistle‑blowing, and restraint of trade disputes. He represents corporates and government departments across a wide range of employment and labour law matters. He sat as an Acting Judge of the Labour Court at the request of the Judge President in 2012 and 2014.

Nick holds an LLB (1979) and a BA (1977) from the University of the Witwatersrand. He is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa. He has been recognised by Best Lawyers (2019‑2026), Legal 500 (2011‑2025) (included in their Hall of Fame), Chambers Global (2014‑2024), and Who's Who Legal (2011‑2017) for Labour and Employment.
