Marga Nel

Marga Nel is a Senior Associate in the Banking and Finance Department at Bowmans in Cape Town, specialising in banking and finance law. She has experience in general finance, preference share funding transactions, structured finance, secured and syndicated lending, as well as general corporate and commercial matters.

Marga has advised on the restructuring of the Mediclinic BEE transaction, several preference share funding transactions for acquisitions and projects, and aircraft financing transactions for two major banks in South Africa.

Marga holds a BCom and an LL.B from Stellenbosch University.
