Cheri Young

Cheri Young is a Senior Associate at ENS in the Banking and Finance practice. Her practice focuses on Banking and Finance Law.

Her experience relates to pension funds, financial markets, financial services, the banking sector, as well as cryptocurrency markets, as well as within the context of the National Credit Act, Consumer Protection Act and Protection of Personal Information Act.

She also has experience in litigation, as well as regulatory knowledge of, and experience in terms of, property law, natural resources law (water, environment, minerals and energy), expropriation, shipping law, administrative law and constitutional law.

She holds an LLB and a PhD from the University of Cape Town and is admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa. She is recognised by The Legal 500 EMEA for Investment Funds in South Africa.
