Alex Taylor

Alex Taylor is an Executive at ENS in the Banking and Finance practice. She specialises in Banking and Finance Law, focusing on transactional funding work and related security structures.

Alex's funding practice includes debt finance, preference share funding and debenture funding. She acts in a wide variety of funding matters, with a particular interest in property funding, sustainability-linked finance and start-up funding.

She also specialises in financial services regulatory work, advising collective investment scheme managers (local and foreign), financial services providers and banks on regulatory requirements, and assisting in engagements with regulators, including in respect of licensing applications. She acts for funders, borrowers, issuers and regulated financial sector participants.

She holds a BAcc and an LLB from Stellenbosch University and is admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa. She is recognised by The Legal 500 EMEA as a recommended lawyer in Investment Funds in South Africa.
