Luzaan Pretorius

Luzaan Pretorius is a Reward Consultant in the Employment and Benefits Practice at Bowmans in Johannesburg, specialising in employment law and reward advisory. She has 17 years' experience in reward and employment tax, having consulted at a global consulting firm and worked in a corporate reward role for one of South Africa's largest listed multinational companies.

Luzaan's expertise includes financial modelling for incentive plans, remuneration benchmarking and market positioning, design of short-term and long-term incentives, remuneration reporting in integrated reports, and advising on the impact of corporate transactions on share schemes. She advises JSE-listed and private companies across sectors including financial services, mining, FMCG, health, and property.

Luzaan holds an Honours degree in Accounting from the University of the Free State and a Master's degree in Tax from the University of Pretoria. She is a member of SAICA and a Reward Specialist with the South African Reward Association (SARA).
