Pascale Towers

Pascale Towers is a Senior Associate in the Employment & Benefits Practice at Bowmans in Johannesburg, specialising in employment law, dispute resolution, and data protection. She advises both local and international clients across a broad range of industries on employment-related matters, including mergers and acquisitions, employment contracts, policies and procedures, restraints of trade, dismissals, conditions of employment, and corporate retrenchments.

Pascale has assisted a large labour broker on the treatment of labour broking employees for purposes of employment legislation and B-BBEE; advised on the employment and benefits consequences of a number of commercial transactions (sale of business, sale of shares); assisted numerous international clients in setting up business operations and employing their first employees in South Africa; conducted due diligence exercises across a range of industries including technology, biotechnology, mining, beauty, and hotel; and advised a large retailer in equal pay litigation at the CCMA.

Pascale holds a Master of Laws degree (with distinction), a Bachelor of Laws degree (cum laude), and a Bachelor of Social Science degree (with distinction) from the University of Cape Town.
