Leigh Lambrechts

Leigh Lambrechts is a Partner at Webber Wentzel in the Cape Town office, specialising in Mergers and Acquisitions. She focuses on general corporate law including mergers and acquisitions, black economic empowerment transactions, corporate governance, and commercial transactions, having acted for a range of clients in both the local and international arena.

Leigh has advised clients across the public and private sectors, including listed and unlisted entities, property developers, financial institutions, technology and infrastructure service providers, and news and media organisations. She has been involved in projects in the renewable energy sector, the negotiation of commercial transactions, legal due diligence investigations, private equity deals, and general advisory work on company law, BEE and contractual matters.

Leigh holds an LL.B. (cum laude) from the University of South Africa (2011) and a B.Sc. from the University of Cape Town (2006). She is an admitted attorney and notary public of the High Court of South Africa.
