Laurian Polkinghorne

Laurian Polkinghorne is an Associate at Bowmans in the Cape Town office, specialising in Mergers and Acquisitions. Her practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, as well as general corporate and commercial law matters.

Laurian has experience in corporate and commercial transactions and conducting and project-managing due diligence investigations. Notable matters include advising Nampak Limited on its asset disposal strategy in South Africa and other parts of Africa, Kerridge Commercial Systems on its acquisition of C and A Kudla Services, GRIT on various African property acquisitions and financing arrangements as well as its acquisition of a controlling interest in Gateway Real Estate Africa, and Sanari Capital on the structuring and raising of various funds.

Laurian holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Postgraduate Bachelor of Laws from the University of Cape Town.
