Keshni Naicker

Keshni Naicker is a Partner in the Employment and Benefits Practice, specialising in Employment Law. She advises corporate and public sector clients on all aspects of employment law, including disciplinary procedures, collective bargaining, strike management, restructuring, retrenchments, and reviews of arbitration awards. She has appeared before the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA), Bargaining Councils, and the Labour Court.

Keshni has led disciplinary proceedings against approximately 4,000 striking employees, assisting the client in formulating disciplinary charges and managing a mass collective disciplinary hearing. She also conducts investigations, drafts investigation reports, and advises on the management of poor performance and misconduct. She is a Conflict Dynamics accredited mediator and has completed commercial mediator skills training.

She holds an LL.B from the University of KwaZulu‑Natal. She is a member of the Golden Key Society, a member of the South African Society for Labour Law (SASLAW), and the Vice President of the African Labour Law Society.
