Keeran Balram

Keeran Balram is an Associate at Webber Wentzel in Johannesburg, specialising in dispute resolution with a focus on commercial and corporate law. He advises clients across both public and private sectors on commercial disputes, regulatory compliance, infrastructure advisory, and construction-related matters, with experience across healthcare regulation and public sector governance.

He brings a unique interdisciplinary perspective to his work, being dual-qualified as a Quantity Surveyor. He previously spent over five years at the Gauteng Department of Infrastructure Development, where he gained extensive experience in the built environment, infrastructure procurement, project management, and public sector governance. This technical foundation enhances his ability to deliver practical, solution‑oriented legal advice in sectors where law and infrastructure intersect.

Keeran holds an LLB from the University of the Witwatersrand (2021), a B.Sc (Hons) from the University of the Witwatersrand (2016), and a B.Sc from the University of the Witwatersrand (2015).
