Aslam Moosajee

Aslam Moosajee is an Executive in the firm's Dispute Resolution practice at ENS. He specialises in commercial and financial litigation, as well as constitutional and administrative law, arbitrations, and mediations, with over two decades of experience across industries including financial services, telecommunications, energy, education, and media. He also advises Government departments and State-owned entities on dispute resolution.

Mr. Moosajee has advised and represented clients in precedent-setting cases, including those relating to the National Credit Act, the Companies Act, the Financial Intelligence Centre Act, termination of banker-customer relationships, claims arising from loadshedding implemented by Eskom, and sports-related disputes. He also specialises in defamation matters and crisis management, and has extensive arbitration and mediation experience as a CEDR-accredited mediator.

Aslam holds a BCom from the University of Durban Westville, an LLB from the University of the Witwatersrand, a Diploma in Insolvency Law from the University of Johannesburg, a Certificate in Competition Law, an Advanced Short Course in Business Rescue Practice from UNISA, and has completed the Emerging Leaders in Law Firms Programme at Harvard Law School. He is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa.

He has been consistently recognized by Chambers Global, The Legal 500 EMEA, and Best Lawyers in Dispute Resolution / Litigation, and was named Litigation Lawyer of the Year in South Africa by Best Lawyers in 2021 and 2023.
