Mongale Falla

Mongale Falla is a Senior Associate in the Litigation and Arbitration Practice at Bowmans in Johannesburg, specialising in dispute resolution, construction, and employment law. He advises on various construction, mining and labour-related matters, with experience spanning commercial disputes, regulatory advice, and employment law.

Mongale has advised a leading FinTech company in an arbitration regarding a repudiated contract; a mining company on determinations in accordance with a power purchase agreement; a multi‑jurisdictional carrier‑neutral data centre operator on a strategic termination of an agreement; and an international technology and service supplier to the global mining and cement industries on a repudiation of contract dispute. He has also advised a property development company on land and mining rights, a French multinational electrical systems company on a due diligence process, and a leading global technology company on its acquisition of an AI‑powered quality management platform. In the employment space, he has advised on restructuring and employee terminations, employee transfers, and compliance with South African employment legislation. He has also conducted pro bono work for an online news publication, a communications non‑profit training institute, and a global community conservation organisation.

Mongale holds an LL.B (Cum Laude) from the University of the Free State (2020) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Labour Law from the University of Johannesburg (2023).
