Kalene Watson

Kalene Watson is a Senior Associate in the Johannesburg office, practicing in Employment Law. She specialises in employment law and occupational health and safety matters, advising companies on retrenchments, unfair dismissals, unfair labour practice disputes, and the employment aspects of transfers of businesses as a going concern.

She also has in-depth experience in due diligence reviews, disciplinary hearings, arbitrations, and drafting employment policies and procedures, as well as executive employment contracts. She provides comprehensive advice to employers across a range of workplace-related matters.

Kalene holds an LLB from the University of South Africa (2014) and a Senior Paralegal Diploma from the SA School of Paralegal Studies (2008). She is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa and a member of The South African Society for Labour Law.
