Junaid Nyker

Junaid Nyker is an Associate in the Johannesburg office, practicing in Administrative Law. He advises on constitutional and administrative law frameworks, regulatory frameworks, and general commercial litigation, with significant experience in judicial reviews against public decisions and matters relating to the public procurement framework.

Mr. Nyker has advised on various regulatory frameworks, including in the health and pharmaceutical sectors, political party participation, energy, and procurement law. In advising on the energy regulatory framework, he has gained experience in public and private procurement, licencing requirements, gas, cross-border regional trade, the just energy transition, and transmission and distribution regulatory frameworks.

He holds an LLB from Rhodes University (2022) and a B.Com from the University of Cape Town (2019).
