Juliette Vermeulen

Juliette Vermeulen is an Associate specialising in employment law. She advises clients on all aspects of employment law, both litigious and non-litigious, including drafting employment contracts and workplace policies, and handling disciplinary proceedings, mutual separation agreements, and large-scale retrenchments. She also has experience in commercial litigation, including sequestration, liquidation, and foreclosure applications.

She frequently advises a global retail entity on employment law matters, and has advised multinational entities on retrenchment proceedings, including preparing statutory notices and attending consultation meetings. She drafts and reviews workplace policies and employment contracts across the financial, retail, food, and manufacturing sectors.

Juliette holds a Bachelor of Laws (cum laude) from the University of Pretoria (2022), where she was on the Dean's Merit List (2021 and 2022), and a B.A. Law (cum laude) from the University of Pretoria (2018-2020). She is an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa and a member of the Golden Key Honour Society and SASLAW.
