Devyani Ghelani

Devyani Ghelani is an Associate in the firm's Employment practice at ENS, practicing in Employment Law. She specialises in employment law with a focus on both advisory and litigation work, including drafting CCMA and Labour Court pleadings, preparing referral documents and review applications, and advising clients across a broad range of employment-related matters.

Her experience includes labour disputes litigation at the CCMA and Labour Court, encompassing arbitrations, reviews, and trials, as well as due diligence investigations, transfers of business as a going concern, restraint of trade litigation, and drafting workplace policies, procedures, employment contracts, settlement agreements, and separation agreements. She assists in disciplinary enquiries involving incapacity, misconduct, and operational requirements, and advises on reportable irregularities and regulatory compliance obligations.

Devyani holds an LLB from the University of the Witwatersrand and is admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
