Des Kruger

Des Kruger is a Consultant at Webber Wentzel in Cape Town, with over 42 years of experience in tax law. He specialises in international tax, corporate tax, value-added tax, capital gains tax, and employees' tax.

He has advised both the Margo and Katz Tax Commissions of Inquiry and was a member of the Davis Tax Committee Sub-committee on value-added tax. Des spent 12 years with the South African Revenue Service, many of those years in the policy area, and served as Deputy Director in the then Tax Policy Division.
