Craig Miller

Craig Miller is a Partner at Webber Wentzel in the Johannesburg office, specialising in Mergers and Acquisitions. He has over 20 years of experience in M&A and corporate tax, advising blue-chip companies and private equity houses on successful transactions.

Prior to joining Webber Wentzel, Craig was a partner in PwC's tax advisory practice and also served as a tax partner at EY, where he started its African Transaction Tax practice. He brings deep expertise in the tax and structuring aspects of complex corporate transactions.

Craig holds an LL.B. from Rand Afrikaans University (1995), a B.Com from the University of Port Elizabeth (1992), a Master of Commerce (Tax Law) from the University of Johannesburg (2016), and various postgraduate qualifications in tax law and contract drafting.

He is ranked by Chambers Global (2020–2026), named by Best Lawyers as a leading individual (2019–2026), and recognised as a legal expert by The Legal 500 (2018, 2023, 2025).
