Brian Price

Brian Price is a Partner in the Johannesburg office, practicing in the firm's Mergers and Acquisitions and Corporate practice. He specializes in a wide range of corporate and corporate finance transactions, including public and private M&A, private equity deals, equity issues, strategic investments, joint ventures, B-BBEE structuring, restructurings, and corporate governance matters.

Mr. Price has advised on numerous significant transactions, including Blue Label Telecoms on the acquisition of a stake in Cell C (including the structuring of a B-BBEE transaction), Steinhoff International on a ZAR 7.3 billion accelerated bookbuild, Fairvest Property Holdings on its merger with Arrowhead Properties (forming a ZAR 11.77 billion property portfolio), and London & Regional Properties on the ZAR 7.2 billion acquisition of the V&A Waterfront. He has also advised fintech start-ups including Profitshare Partners and Mortgage Market on their establishment and equity investment rounds.

Brian holds a BA Law and an LLB from the University of Pretoria. He has been consistently ranked by IFLR1000 as a Notable Practitioner for eight consecutive years (2018-2025) and has been recommended by Legal 500 in Commercial, Corporate, and Mergers and Acquisitions (2020).
