Ashleigh Graham

Ashleigh Graham is a Partner in the Johannesburg office, practicing in the firm's Dispute Resolution and Litigation practice. She has diverse expertise in commercial disputes and white-collar related matters, with experience in arbitration, motion, and trial work across contractual disputes, shareholder and director disputes, delictual claims, procurement disputes, and constitutional law.

Ms. Graham has handled significant matters including a cross-border dispute against a listed entity in Namibia pursuing payment of approximately USD 19 million plus interest, recognition and enforcement of a UK judgment for USD 21 million plus interest, a ZAR 453 million international arbitration for a multinational telecommunications provider, and the successful defense of a ZAR 210 million summons for a JSE-listed property fund. She has also represented a Swiss-based NGO fund in defending a USD 17 million damages claim and has acted in arbitrations and litigation for clients across various industries including mining, energy, financial services, and pharmaceuticals.

She holds an LLB (cum laude) from the University of the Witwatersrand and is an accredited Commercial Mediator. She was recognized by the University of the Witwatersrand as the most distinguished LLB graduate (2011) and by the Gauteng Law Society as a best final year LLB student (2011). She has been recognized by Legal 500 as a Key Lawyer for Dispute Resolution (2023).
