Alexandra Felekis

Alexandra Felekis is the Co-Head of Projects, Energy & Infrastructure at Bowmans in the Johannesburg office, specialising in Infrastructure Law. She focuses on project development, particularly as it relates to concessions, procurement programmes, public-private partnerships and financings in the mining and energy sectors.

Alexandra was part of the team advising the South African Government on its Renewable Energy Independent Power Producers (REIPP) Procurement Programme and has extensive experience in the private sector captive and off-grid power market across South Africa and the continent. She has acted for lenders, offtakers, traders and independent power producers on power purchase agreements, and has advised Transnet on various port and rail concessions. Notable clients include Seriti Green, SolarAfrica, Envusa, Glencore, Anglo American Platinum, De Beers, Sasol, and Rand Merchant Bank.

Alexandra holds an LL.B. (cum laude) from the University of Johannesburg (2005) and is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa.

She is recognised by Chambers Global as Up and Coming for Projects and Energy (2025–2026) and ranked as Highly Regarded by IFLR1000 for her work in South Africa (2025).
