Tetyana Lobachova

Tetyana Lobachova is a Senior Associate in the Banking and Finance department at Bowmans' Cape Town office and a member of the Commercial Property practice, specialising in real estate law and conveyancing matters.

She advises on commercial leases, sale of immovable property agreements, and real estate due diligences. She has assisted with property aspects of major transactions including Chevron South Africa's sale of a majority stake, Mr Price's acquisitions of Power Fashion, Yuppiechef and Studio 88, and various renewable energy company acquisitions. She has advised BTE Renewables on land rights opinions under the REIPPPP programme, Grindrod Holdings on the transfer of around 30 immovable properties, Pick n Pay on the sale and transfer of two shopping centres, Capitec on its purchase of the Liberty Life building, and Southern Sun as borrower counsel. She has also assisted lenders including RMB, FNB, Standard Bank, ABSA and Investec on the registration of security.

Tetyana holds an LL.B (cum laude) from the University of Stellenbosch. She is an admitted attorney, notary public and conveyancer.
