Skyla Ball

Skyla Ball is an Associate in the Litigation and Arbitration Practice at Bowmans in Johannesburg, specialising in dispute resolution, commercial litigation, and insolvency. She has experience in High Court commercial litigation, public interest litigation, complex contractual disputes, private commercial arbitrations, trial and motion proceedings, and insolvency matters.

Skyla has advised a multinational FMCG company in arbitration proceedings relating to a breach of contract claim and the recovery of significant damages, and has advised various corporate entities in general commercial litigation. Her practice includes drafting pleadings and applications, legal research, drafting legal opinions, and giving general advice on commercial contracts.

Skyla holds a BA and LL.B from the University of Witwatersrand. She is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
