Meredith Taylor

Meredith Taylor is an Associate at DLA Piper in Johannesburg, specialising in dispute resolution and regulatory matters. She represents clients in a broad range of civil, family law, and commercial disputes, and has appeared before various courts nationally.

She has assisted with urgent strike‑related applications, including facilitating negotiations and drafting strike and picketing rules, and has provided strategic legal advice on labour‑related matters across the tourism, automotive, and mining industries. She also advises on civil disputes across various legal domains and guides private companies on compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, including drafting policies and providing compliance advice.

Meredith holds an LL.B from the University of the Free State (2018), a Higher Certificate in Business Principles and Practice (with distinction) from The Independent Institute of Education (2014), and is admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa and a Notary Public. She is a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society.
