Simon Weber

Simon Weber is an Executive in the Tax practice at ENS, specialising in tax law. He advises clients across various industries, including mining, agriculture, fast‑moving consumer goods, and banking, on mining tax, mineral royalties, transfer pricing, tax restructurings, personal income tax, and employees' tax.

He has extensive involvement in complex tax cases, with particular expertise in tax litigation and dispute resolution. He provides strategic legal counsel to clients on complex tax matters, including cross‑border transactions and regulatory compliance.

He holds a BCom Law (with distinction) and an LLB (with distinction) from the University of Pretoria, an LLM from the University of the Witwatersrand, a Postgraduate Diploma in Tax Law from the University of Johannesburg, and Postgraduate Certificates in Advanced Administrative Law and Company Law I & II (Mandela Institute, Wits). He is an admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa with right of Appearance.

He is recognised as a Key Lawyer by The Legal 500 EMEA for Tax (2025‑2024).
